Festival Pageant 1951

Southbourne Council School, Stein Road

The Pageant was held on The Glebe and involved all the school children.
This programme records all their names and the parts they played.
The Festival of Britain was in 1951 and I wonder if communities were encouraged to celebrate.
The pageant gives the historic development of the area.

The first page has a picture of some of the children. The boy holding the Smuggling signs is David Holman's brother and David is standing behind him.
